The History of Janke Insurance
Janke Insurance Agency is home to where one of the oldest surviving Local Chapters in the Germania family was established. Local Chapter #05 was formed on November 17, 1896 in Bartlett, TX where one of the two founding fathers, Mr L.A. Neibuhr was from. He was a mercantile-store owner who responded to his customer’s financial hardships and he envisioned a plan to form a mutual-aid association to protect farmer’s properties against losses.
Kathleen Janke brings over 27 years of experience to the agency. She became the first licensed agent for Local Chapter #05 on November 5, 2001, which then allowed her to become an independent insurance agent, thus forming Janke Insurance Agency. Before Kathleen acquired her Agents of Record License, she had been an accredited writer for Germania since 1994.
